Pumpkin Display at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Hey Shaksters!

Happy thanksgiving weekend! I know it is a little late but it is still the weekend. I hope everyone is doing good, as for me I am doing good. I hope you had turkey time with loved ones. This is really what we root for anyway!

I’ve been living in Minnesota for three years, but I have never been at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and that’s disappointing considering how beautiful this place is. I guess it just never crossed my mind to go there and visit until I saw a picture of this fall pumpkin display which looks so gorgeous. So, I have arranged to head there before the end of the display.

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, ” The Arb” for short, is the largest, most diverse and complete horticultural site in Minnesota with an almost 100 year history run by the University of Minnesota. If you love nature, gardens and plants, it’s the right place for you. In fact, you could plan a perfect family day at the garden or hang out with friends learning about different plant species or watch birds or go hiking or even picknick. You could even plan your wedding there or a reception. There is an admission fee of 15$ per person, and there is a free on-site parking. If you want to learn more about it, click here.

Each year, The Arb holds the World Of Pumpkins Display that lasts about a month, usually from the 1st to the 31st day of October. As you can see in some of the accompanying photos, it is a display of popular, heirloom, pumpkins and squash in a range of colors and much more.

As for my outfit, which was appropriate for the weather, I have to admit it was a little bit outdone if you want to go around the entire garden because it accounts for a three-mile walk. However, I was mostly interested about the pumpkins display and taking cute pictures around, so I could bear the pain of walking around with heeled boots although they felt so comfortable for me. My boots are from ShoeDazzle; my faux leather jacket and cami top are from Forever 21; my bag is from Aldo, my jeans from Fashion nova, and my hat is from Target. This look gives the vibe of a texan girl, but well, it is always good to try new things. I actually love how this outfit turned out to be, so I will definitely try more similar looks in the future.

Thank you guys for reading, enjoy the rest of your weekend!
